Mary Anne MacLellan, M.A., CCC
Owner/Director, Speech-Language Pathologist

Mary Anne is the Owner of Associated Speech Pathologists, which she founded in 1986. She is a California licensed and ASHA certified Speech-Language Pathologist, who has provided therapy for infants up through adults in a variety of settings; including public schools, nonpublic schools, Home Health agencies, Skilled Nursing facilities and in private practice.
She received both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees at
San Diego State University.

Mary Anne’s pediatric experience includes the evaluation and treatment of autism spectrum disorders, social language challenges, apraxia, feeding, articulation, voice as well as receptive and expressive language deficits.

Her advanced clinical training includes certifications in Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS), PROMPT, SOS Approach to Feeding and has training in the methods of Social Thinking by Michelle Garcia Winner, SCERTS model, DIRFloortime, New Visions feeding, and the Kaufman Speech to Language Protocol for apraxia and other speech sound disorders.   Mary Anne is Hanen certified for the programs More than Words, It Takes Two to Talk and Target Word.

In addition, Mary Anne served as the Design Director on The Social Express development team, creating the interactive software, which was launched in 2011. “The Social Express” was designed to assist students with Social Language Challenges.

She is a certified member of both the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA) and the California Speech Language Hearing Association (CSHA).

When she isn’t working, she enjoys traveling with her husband, cooking, going to the theater and enjoying life in beautiful Encinitas.

Taryn Ollison
Office Manager

Taryn was raised in Lemon Grove, CA until she moved to Murrieta in 2001.  She has enjoyed working for Associated Speech Pathologists since 2018 and loves that the center is focused around helping children and their families that come into the clinic.  

Taryn is dedicated to working with each family and their specific needs with insurance and billing options.  She enjoys helping parents tackle the insurance questions and issues that can be overwhelming at times, allowing them to focus on their children and the therapies provided.

Outside the clinic Taryn enjoys trying new foods, baking, shopping, scrapbooking and watching her 3 children compete athletically.
